  A Phoenix Rising from the Ashes The story of the phoenix is a mythical tale of rebirth and renewal. Not able to relate? Don't worry! Remember Fawkes from Harry Potter? Dumbledore's phoenix, which burst into flames when it was time for it to die and was then reborn from the ashes. There are times in life when we all transform into one: facing hardships and breakdowns but overcoming them with boldness and manifesting our true mettle.    Life tests you when you already have a million things weighing you down, when you're down on your knees and about to surrender.     I won't prate on with philosophical ideas, instead let me share my personal experience.   On reading the title many historic tales of sacrifice and renunciation strike the mind, don’t they? We, humans have a tendency to overlook the lush green grass and verdant valleys and obsess with the stars. We usually turn a blind eye to things that surround us and people who shape us. (I’m so glad you’re photogenic because the camera captures a divine beauty with ever click.)  I would not claim that my mother is “perfect”, she has her flaws like any other normal human. She’s strict like a hostel warden and an emotional fool like me. Nonetheless,  her eyes can read the thoughts and intentions of people even before they originate in their mind, she prepares her hug and caressing hand even before I’m broken, the ambulance is ready even before I was made a patient.  You know how a baby cub or a little chick is scared and frightened to take decisions and mother pushes them, she took life-changing decisions for me.
